"Counselling has helped me so much through very difficult times."
"My eldest son attended BFP and the difference this made to him was amazing."
In 2002, a group of passionate people from Bourne Christian Centre saw there was a need for emotional, practical and spiritual therapeutic support in their community. As a church, they felt called to extend Christ’s love and compassion to those in crisis and established the Bourne Family Project offering professional, accessible and affordable counselling and therapy for anyone in need.
Currently, the Church Trust with the financial support of funders, employs a group of therapists and counsellors from diverse backgrounds. The team of therapists give tailored and professional support to each person who comes to the service, based on their needs. Everyone has their own recovery journey, and so we provide a safe environment where everyone can feel valued, heard and empowered.

What
we do
We offer Family Wellbeing Services including client-centered creative and talking therapies, for both adults and children.
And we’re passionate about our doors being open to anyone - that’s why we keep our session prices affordable, but we don’t compromise on the service you receive.
Play Therapy in the South West can cost anything from £45. We charge £20 per session.
Pay it forward!
Can you pay more than £20 for your therapy?
Pay more than our reduced fee to help subsidize some one else’s sessions so they can start their healing journey.
You need to be able to commit to weekly sessions agreed with the therapist (generally 16 sessions) for the therapeutic process to have the most benefits for you or your child.
